In honor of International Women’s Day we’d like to shine the light on the women at the Downtown Providence Parks Conservancy. We’re a small team here and these women are integral in making sure the DPPC accomplishes all its goals and helps us make Greater Kennedy Plaza into the civic center of Providence.

Office Administrator & Volunteer Coordinator, Susan Dunnington keeps the DPPC organized, on time and works with the community to help organize our volunteer events.
Communications Specialist, Kristin Crane works on telling Providence about the work the DPPC is doing, and updating our social media platforms.
Program Director, Jen Smith works tirelessly to program the park with the free, family-friendly events that happen all summer long, plus a lot of behind the scenes work during fall, winter and spring.

Happy International Women’s Day!
