Spring is one of our favorite times of year. At the DPPC, we are at work planning our summer programming, working with volunteer groups to clean up the parks, and gathering supplies for our family-friendly programs at the Imagination Center in Burnside Park.
Have you been spring cleaning too?
Please consider donating your gently loved books to our Imagination Center.
Located on the stage of our Imagination Center, the open air reading room is stocked with books for a wide range of readers and can always use more. We stock our take-a-book/leave-a-book shelves with a wide range of topics, titles, and languages. These books are available for anyone looking to read. Our visitors often curl up with a book in the park, or take a book home and share the love of reading. If you have gently used books in your house that are free of rips, stains or writing, we can happily give your books a new home.
Have some books that need a new home? Please get in touch with Susan Dunnington at 401-521-8800, ext. 101, to arrange drop off of your books or Legos. Don’t forget, the Downtown Providence Parks Conservancy is a 501(c)(3), your donation is tax-deductible. The kids of Providence thank you!
