Join Us at the Next DNA Meeting

The DPPC is excited to share with downtown residents what’s going on out their front door. Our staff will discuss our upcoming summer arts and cultural programming which will kick off in June, details about our ongoing Soldiers & Sailors Restoration Project, as well as invite residents to get involved with volunteer opportunities.

We have enjoyed a productive relationship with the DNA over the years, including an ongoing collaboration in Burnside Park. Throughout the summer members of the DNA have worked with our staff gardening and weeding in Burnside and Biltmore Parks. Their commitment to this partnership is key to one of their missions of “strengthening downtown residents’ sense of civic responsibility.” We appreciate their hard work, and best of all, we genuinely enjoy their company while working together in the park!

In addition to our staff speaking, the Providence Police will speak about crime trends and safety issues, new businesses will introduce themselves, and the new Greek market opening at 292 Westminster Street, Yoleni’s, will be bringing snacks.

If you’d like to learn a bit more about the DNA, check out this feature from our friends at the Downtown Improvement District.

You can get all the details for the meeting over on their Facebook Event.
