This holiday season, the Downtown Providence Parks Conservancy, in partnership with Mayor Jorge Elorza, the Department of Art, Culture and Tourism, the Partnership for Providence Parks and the Department of Parks and Recreation, are celebrating the holidays with a Winter Lights Market and Tree Lighting.

Taking place over two days, East Approach (the bus lane between the Rink and Burnside Park) will be transformed into Winter Lights Lane, home to the Winter Lights Market, a stage for live performances, family activities and illuminated public art. Under a heated tent, the Winter Lights Market will host an artisan marketplace curated by EatDrinkRI, full of delicious dishes and drinks. Get some holiday shopping done and support local artists selling unique items.

Eat Drink RI, Rhode Island’s own media, marketing and event production company for all things culinary, is curating the Artisan Marketplace for the Winter Lights Market. Expect savory dishes from some favorite local food trucks, hot drinks and sweet treats, and a local holiday market featuring art, gifts, and creative culinary products – all in the comfort of a heated tent! Support your local art community and pick up some gifts for the holidays from artists and artisans making unique and memorable items, with something for everyone.

Sip & Shop with local food trucks, Trinity Brewhouse, Revival Brewing, and New Harvest on site.
