2017 was a milestone year for us at the DPPC.
- We had a record number of volunteer groups help to beautify the parks.
- We hosted local musicians at our Burnside Music Series + Beer Garden, as well as our lunchtime Noon Tunes.
- We brought local storytellers, authors and illustrators into the park to read to children and inspire a love of books.
- Live raptors visited with the Audubon Society, Miss Katie played with science and we had delicious local food at our weekly farmers market.
Our biggest accomplishment? Building a one-of-a-kind playground in the heart of Downtown Providence, Brandon’s Beach at Burnside Park.
