As we begin 2018, THANK YOU to everyone who donated to our 2017 year-end fundraiser. Your generosity shows you are personally invested in the work we do in your parks and helps keep our programming free, open to the public, and continuously growing. Please take a few minutes and watch this video of our 2017 highlights.
We strongly believe in the importance of communities coming together to make a positive difference, and we’re ready to do just that in 2018.

Create a downtown parks system.
We are partnering with federal, state and local organizations to create a world-class waterfront park system in Downtown Providence, and we want to know: What do you want to see in your downtown parks? Please take a minute and complete our short survey and be part of the process.
Restore soldiers & sailors monument.
Greater Kennedy Plaza will come alive with our new project to restore this historically significant statue and revitalize the area and landscaping surrounding it. We are currently in the middle of a fundraiser to raise the $300,000 needed for the project. If you’d like to be a part of this historic project, consider making a tax-deductible donation today.
Expand public space programming.
A core belief in placemaking is to fill parks and public spaces with positive activity. Each year our free public programming continues to grow and we hope to bring more high quality art and cultural events to the park in 2018.
Work with more volunteer groups.
We love working with local volunteer groups to help beautify our parks and build stewardship of these public spaces. If your group is interested in working with us, please email Susan Dunnington for more information.
